The Supreme Court has nullified Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election in the August 8 poll.
In the petition which took court a week to hear and make judgement, came to an end today. Out of the six judges, four ruled in favour of NASA's petition challenging the results, while two, Njoki Ndung'u and Jackton Ojwang, ruled against.

This means that fresh elections must be conducted within 60 days after nullification of the presidential poll.
"Presidential election was not conducted in accordance to the Constitution.The results are null and void,"CJ Maraga said
"We were satisfied that the election was not conducted as the constitution dictates," he added.
But he pointed out that the Court found no evidence of misconduct on the part of the third respondent who is President Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to Ndung'u"s ruling, the election was conducted in accordance with the law while Ojwang' stated that the petitioner, Raila Odinga did not have enough evidence.
